Scandinavian Enviro Systems has officially kicked off the application process for its new end-of-life tire pyrolysis plant.
The company has filed applications for environmental permits to build its first wholly-owned large-scale tire pyrolysis facility in the Nordics, and secured the exclusive option to purchase the planned land parcel. The plant is designed to process more than 70,000 tonnes of waste tires every year.
This project is a key progress of the company’s long-term industrial layout and capacity expansion strategy. During the preparation phase, the team has maintained efficient communication with local authorities and all relevant partners. Preliminary feedback from regulators is expected by the end of the second quarter.
Thanks to the land acquisition right, Enviro can reserve the construction site before making the final investment decision. The project still needs to go through environmental review, final investment approval and other routine procedures. We will keep you updated on the latest progress.
