The solution operates purely on existing onboard vehicle data, requiring no extra sensors installed on tires. It boasts strong compatibility with all tire brands and vehicle models, including passenger cars, trucks and autonomous shuttles.

Built around a real-time updated virtual tire model, the system continuously monitors and analyzes tire pressure, wear, load, grip and road conditions. It connects seamlessly with vehicle embedded systems to optimize the performance of brakes, stability control and driver assistance functions.

Practically, the technology effectively prevents aquaplaning, maximizes tire grip, enhances ABS performance and detects vehicle overload. It also adjusts vehicle status according to real-time tire pressure, delivering smoother rides and shorter braking distances — up to several meters in extreme conditions. Running silently in the background, the system brings zero interference to drivers.

In terms of after-sales maintenance, continuous tire condition monitoring enables predictive maintenance and extends tire service life.

Developed over more than a decade, the technology is protected by multiple patents and fully verified via millions of kilometers of road tests. Aligned with the trend of software-defined vehicles, it supports over-the-air function updates without hardware replacement.

Michelin has established in-depth cooperation with global automotive partners such as Brembo, Hyundai, QNX, ETAS and Sonatus to accelerate industrial application. The joint development with Brembo on the Sensify brake system has achieved remarkable results: integrating real-time tire data into brake algorithms cuts the hard braking distance by up to 4 meters, greatly improving braking stability and safety.
